SaChin Productions is a Brooklyn based independent live event, television, radio and podcast production company founded in 2014 by Sanaa Harris and Chinyere Vann. they formed the production company to bring their talents behind the camera to their passions of capturing intriguing and thought provoking images that bring all people together. SaChin Productions provides clients with creative writers, seasoned directors, experienced crews and professional editors for productions of all sizes.

Sanaa’s experiences in the entertainment industry started with magazine publishing as part of the production team for several award-winning publications such as Satellite Direct/Orbit, Cable World, Residential Architect, Custom Home, Glamour and Complex Magazine. After, making her mark in publishing Sanaa decided to expand her passion for production into the world of television by joining the Emmy winning News Productions department at CBS where she produced hour-long documentaries and original programming for A&E, History Channel, TLC and the Food Network.

During these productions, Sanaa worked closely with CBS Business and Legal Affairs to license music and video footage, which reignited her desire to achieve her childhood goal of becoming an attorney. While attending Brooklyn Law School, Sanaa began to shape her next career by focusing on classes in entertainment law, new media law, copyright, trademark, and sports law to name a few. Her dual passion for production and the law motivated Sanaa to simultaneously build her own private entertainment law practice and media production company. And prior to the 2020 Covid pandemic, Sanaa was also the Lead Producer for The XFL Pregame Show.

CHINYERE VANN

Whereas Sanaa’s work in production started behind the scenes, Chinyere lived a life in front of the camera. Starting at the age of five, Chinyere modeled for the Ford Modeling Agency for 11 years and had a reoccurring role on Sesame Street. However, Chinyere’s first love was basketball! Her skills become nationally recognized after becoming a breakout star on an all-boys local basketball team and being ranked amongst the top five high school point guards in the nation. She was featured on “The Today Show”, “Inside Stuff”, “A Passion to Play”, Sports Illustrated Magazine, Essence Magazine’s “Top 25 Women” under the age of 25 and a NIKE advertising campaign. Chinyere’s basketball talents earned her a scholarship for the Division I basketball program at University of Iowa and Fordham University. After graduation, Chinyere brought her elite sports and televIsion experience to CBS Sports, where she is currently an Associate Director and Producer. Through the years, Chinyere has been responsible for the live broadcast of numerous Super Bowls, Final Four games, Masters, PGA Championships and US Open Tennis. Recently, Chinyere’s talents behind the camera were also recognized with multiple EMMY Awards for Outstanding Live Sport Series- The NFL on CBS as well as Outstanding Playoff Coverage -NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
